2026 Speaker Application

We will be using TED’s Curation Guidelines in considering speakers for TEDxKalamazoo. Additionally, we will prioritize speakers from the Greater Kalamazoo Area or those with connections to West Michigan for our Q1 2026 event (details to come).

To ensure a diversity of voices, we cannot consider applications from speakers who have presented at a TEDx event within the past year or who have upcoming speaking engagements at another TEDx event within six months of our event.

Our focus is on sparking fresh ideas and igniting conversation. TEDxKalamazoo is not currently seeking applications from motivational or inspirational speakers promoting books based on personal narratives.

In accordance with TEDx content guidelines, we avoid political agendas, religion, commercial agendas, and “bad science”.
